It is quite coincidental that as I post this 'postcard' we are actually camped on a large waterway..The Estuary of the Clarence River along the north eastern coast of NSW. I have not seen any blue fish as yet...but these would be attractive if used as a motif on sea side clothing, They are made from cotton fabric with a small amount 'cut-back' work on them. The background cotton muslin has been hand dyed in a 'water blue' colour.
