My brother, as a young boy, had a ginger cat. It was not quite like this fellow but a much lighter ginger colour. One night 'Ging' was lying in front of the wood fire and managed to get so hot that the white fur on his tummy was singed. He spent most of the next day trying to lick it off!!
My applique piece is machine made using cotton fabric and thread.
