Could this be the surface of the Tasmanian bush track that we travelled today? It was a beautiful drive through wonderful wattles, eucalypts and tall tree ferns, a little south of Stanley in the north-west area of the Tasmanian island.
To give this appearance I have done a rubbing on fabric over a rough surface using 'shiva' sticks. ( these sticks are similar to an oil crayon.)
